I maintain two software projects that I developed to make it easier for me to perform the work I do here at StolenTranslations, but which may also prove useful to others. I have written a number of posts talking about these projects and showcasing their results.
booru-note-copy is a tool that is used to copy translation notes between booru-style imageboards. This comes in handy when it comes time to post my translations to Gelbooru and I realize that the notes for the source image were only available on Danbooru. It is written in Python and available on PyPI.
The color bruteforcer is a program written in Rust designed to find an unknown, semitransparent overlay color. It is particularly useful when translating CG sets with semitransparent bubbles, since they often have textless images alongside the images with text.
